Binh Chanh District leaders dialogue and resolve difficulties of businesses

On the morning of October 12, the People's Committee of Binh Chanh District (HCMC) held a meeting to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Vietnam Entrepreneurs' Day (October 13, 2004 - October 13, 2024) and a dialogue between Binh Chanh District leaders and businesses in 2024, with the theme "Accompanying businesses, improving the investment and business environment, enhancing the competitiveness of Binh Chanh District".

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of Binh Chanh District People's Committee Huynh Cao Cuong acknowledged the contributions of the business community in Binh Chanh District.

Over the past time, the leaders of Binh Chanh district have always accompanied and listened to businesses, so they have promptly resolved many difficulties, problems and recommendations of businesses.

The district has also implemented many solutions to improve the business investment environment; promptly made adjustments suitable to the actual situation to create a favorable environment for the business community.

Recently, Binh Chanh district has disseminated policies and guidelines related to enterprises such as Resolution 09/2023/NQ-HDND of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council on interest rate support for priority projects for socio -economic development.

At the same time, implement the project to improve the quality and effectiveness of legal support for businesses in the period of 2021-2030" in the district to support tax exemption and reduction policies, online tax payment and e-commerce business registration.

The district also coordinates with banks to implement the Bank - Enterprise connection program to create conditions for enterprises to access preferential capital sources.

After 10 months of 2024, Binh Chanh district collected 2,914 billion VND in budget revenue (reaching 116.7% of the yearly plan). Of which, industrial and commercial tax was 732 billion VND (reaching 96.7%), land use fee was 1,411 billion VND (reaching 156.8%).
