Leaders and employees of Samsung Thai Nguyen donate blood at Red Sunday 2024

TPO - On the morning of February 28, leaders and many employees of Samsung Electronic Vietnam Company (Yen Binh Industrial Park, Pho Yen, Thai Nguyen) joined hands to donate blood in response to the 16th Red Sunday program in 2024 with the message "Donate blood to save lives - Your life and mine".
On the morning of February 28, at Samsung Electronic Vietnam Company (SEVT Company) (Yen Binh Industrial Park, Pho Yen, Thai Nguyen), the Voluntary Blood Donation program - Sharing Vietnamese Blood took place, responding to the 16th Red Sunday program in 2024 with the message "Donate blood to save lives - Your life and mine" launched by Tien Phong newspaper, in coordination with the Central Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, Thai Nguyen Provincial Red Cross Association.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Park Sung Ho - General Director of Samsung Electronics Vietnam felt very proud of his employees when he learned that from 2014 to now, SEVT Company alone has successfully donated 52,334 units of blood, accounting for nearly 45% of the total amount of blood donated by all Samsung legal entities in Vietnam.

Our blood donation campaign at SEVT always has a slogan: "Wishing that the journey to write good things will always last. Donating blood to save people is a hero in this world and you are the hero." Every time the campaign is deployed at the company, thousands of employees sign a commitment and accompany the blood donation campaign every year", Mr. Park Sung Ho shared more.
Journalist Phung Cong Suong - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong newspaper expressed gratitude and always acknowledged the attention and direction of Samsung Vietnam's leadership and the response of a large number of staff who participated in donating blood at the program.
"That interest and response have contributed significantly to the success of the Red Sunday program over the past 16 years. Up to now, SEVT Company has donated more than 52,000 units of blood to the program, making a significant contribution to the blood shortage situation in Vietnam. These drops of blood bring boundless joy to patients and many urgent cases," added the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong newspaper.
Mr. Nguyen Ha Thanh - Director of the Central Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion said that after 10 years of cooperation with SEVT Company, the Institute has received more than 52,000 units of blood from leaders, officers and employees of the factory, accounting for approximately 50% of the total blood volume of Samsung Vietnam.
Beauty Nguyen Ngoc Mai - Beauty with a Heart, Top 5 Miss Vietnam 2022 and beauty Kim Tra My - Runner-up of Miss Thanh Lich Hanoi 2023 were present at the program.
The organizing units presented gifts to the accompanying units.
The program's organizers, leaders, and beauties signed and left messages for the event.
The voluntary blood donation program "Share Vietnamese Blood 2024" was organized at SEVT in 2 phases (phase 1 from February 21-22, phase 2 from February 28-29) with the goal of receiving 2,000 units of blood. In phase 1 alone, with the response of SEVT staff, 1,196 units of blood were successfully donated, thereby reaching 60% of the set target.
Leaders of Tien Phong Newspaper, SEVT Company, Institute of Hematology, Thai Nguyen Provincial Red Cross and the beauty visited and gave gifts to staff who donated blood in the program.
