Following the success and significance of the first program, the second "Legal Mirror" Voting and Honoring Program in 2023 was launched in March 2022.
According to Deputy Minister of Justice Nguyen Thanh Tinh - Head of the Steering Committee of the Program to Vote and Honor Good Law Examples, this program is a very meaningful activity, implementing the principles and purposes of the Vietnam Law Newspaper, not only to detect violations of the law to fight, but also to discover and honor examples of "good people, good deeds", focusing on legal work.

"If we can do this, the program will not only be the result of the activities of the Vietnam Law Newspaper, implementing the Newspaper's principles and purposes, and one of the activities towards Vietnam Law Day, but also make a positive and meaningful contribution to the implementation of Resolution 27 of the Central Committee on continuing to build a socialist rule-of-law state of Vietnam of the people, by the people and for the people," Deputy Minister Nguyen Thanh Tinh commented.
Regarding the voting and selection of the most outstanding examples, Mr. Vu Hoai Nam - Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Law Newspaper, Head of the program's Organizing Committee shared: "To select 50 examples, the Organizing Committee and the Voting Council had a very active, careful, thoughtful working process and especially the extremely careful consideration in evaluating each character, each example to ensure the selection of truly excellent and worthy examples to honor. To achieve such results, I believe that there is support and contribution from agencies, organizations and individuals, especially the examples, who have followed us throughout the past journey".

Mr. Vu Hoai Nam said that in order to contribute to honoring and praising typical examples in building and organizing law enforcement, a particularly important field in the political and social life of a country, implementing the direction of the Party Executive Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Justice, Vietnam Law Newspaper was assigned to preside over the organization of the annual Law Model Selection and Honoring Program on the occasion of Vietnam Law Day, November 9, to spread and multiply typical examples in building and organizing law enforcement nationwide.

Among the shining examples reflected this year, there are many typical and inspiring examples such as Lieutenant General Nguyen Quoc Thuoc - Former Commander of Military Region 4, Hero of the People's Armed Forces. He participated in revolutionary activities from April 1945 to 1997, every year he returned to the old battlefield to burn incense for his comrades and search for and verify information about martyrs in the Central Highlands battlefield. He not only helped the families of martyrs find information but was also a "warehouse" of valuable documents, a "living museum" about the Central Highlands battlefield. He was also the author of the "reconciliation principle" in the 1995 Civil Code when he was a National Assembly delegate.

A typical female character is Lieutenant Colonel Do Thi Hang Nga. On October 30, 2017, Lieutenant Colonel Do Thi Hang Nga was given a decision by the Ministry of National Defense to go to South Sudan to work at the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission. She is the 20th officer of Vietnam to take up the mission but the first female Vietnamese officer. Lieutenant Colonel Do Thi Hang Nga has a 12-month term to carry out the mission at the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission as a staff officer supervising military activities. In May 2022, Lieutenant Colonel Do Thi Hang Nga will depart for a new mission in South Sudan as Deputy Director of Level 2 Field Hospital No. 4.
