Clarifying the female driver driving in the wrong direction on My Thuan highway

On January 15, news from Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 7 , under Department 6 (Traffic Police Department) said that after receiving information about a person driving in the wrong direction on the My Thuan - Can Tho highway , the unit organized verification and invited this person to the headquarters for clarification.

Accordingly, the owner and driver of car with license plate 93A-296.01 is Ms. NTTM (residing in Dong Xoai City, Binh Phuoc ). Working with the traffic police, Ms. M. admitted that at around 8:30 a.m. on January 14, she drove in the wrong direction on the My Thuan - Can Tho highway at Km122+500.

The Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 7 has drawn up a report on Ms. M.’s behavior of driving in the wrong direction on the highway. According to the traffic police, Ms. M.’s behavior will be subject to an administrative fine of 16-18 million VND.

As Thanh Nien reported, at around 8:30 a.m. on January 14, a driver driving in the right direction on the My Thuan - Can Tho expressway, near the overpass at the intersection with provincial road 908 (Binh Tan district, Vinh Long ), suddenly saw a car with license plate 93A-296.01 driving in the opposite direction in the lane near the median strip, flashing its headlights continuously.

The driver of the car going in the right direction slowed down and swerved into the next lane. The driver then posted the clip on social media as a warning.
