Celebrating the 1000th Anniversary of Emperor Dinh Tien Hoang's Birth and Hoa Lu Festival 2024

The opening program vividly recounted the story of King Dinh Tien Hoang from his youth to his founding of the Imperial Dynasty, opening the foundation of the Dai Co Viet nation after a thousand years of Chinese domination.

At the same time, it is an opportunity to honor the lasting values ​​and strong vitality of the intangible cultural heritage of Hoa Lu Festival; promote the responsibility of preserving and promoting historical-cultural traditions for Party committees, authorities and people at all levels, serving socio-economic development, building a prosperous homeland and country, and happy people.

Hoa Lu Festival is held annually and is a long-standing cultural activity, vividly reflecting the life, background and career of Emperor Dinh Tien Hoang and Vietnamese history through three dynasties: Dinh, Tien Le and Ly.

Epic art performance at the Opening Ceremony

Celebrating the 1,100th anniversary of Emperor Dinh Tien Hoang's birth and the opening of the Hoa Lu Festival in 2024, there is a special art program "Mission of the Capital," with the participation of hundreds of professional singers, artists, and dancers, with modern sound, light, and effects.

In particular, for the first time, people and tourists in Ninh Binh enjoyed a drone light performance, vividly simulating the story of King Dinh Tien Hoang from his youth to his founding of the Imperial Dynasty, opening the foundation of the Dai Co Viet nation after a thousand years of Chinese domination, along with the steps of today's generation to build an increasingly innovative, rich, and powerful homeland - towards a future millennium heritage city. The program ended with a colorful low-altitude fireworks display.
