Discipline 2 commune and ward leaders

On August 4, the Standing Committee of Nha Trang City Party Committee (Khanh Hoa province) issued a decision to discipline by removing from all positions in the Party Ms. Dang Thi Phuong Mai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Tan Lap Ward People's Committee.

Previously, at the 46th session on July 19, the Nha Trang City Party Committee's Inspection Committee reviewed, disciplined and proposed disciplinary action against two violating party members.

Accordingly, considering the content, nature, level, and consequences of the violation; based on the Party's regulations on disciplinary action against violating Party members, the Nha Trang City Party Committee's Inspection Committee decided to discipline Mr. Nguyen Quoc Bao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Vinh Thanh Commune with a reprimand.

Mr. Nguyen Quoc Bao lacked responsibility in land management and implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TU, dated April 28, 2022 of the City Party Committee on strengthening the Party's leadership in land management, minerals, construction order, and urban beauty order.

At the same time, it is recommended that the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee consider and discipline Ms. Dang Thi Phuong Mai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of the People's Committee of Tan Lap Ward, for violating the Working Regulations of the People's Committee of Tan Lap Ward for the 2021-2026 term; declaring assets and income dishonestly, violating things that party members are not allowed to do.

In addition, Ms. Mai also violated Regulation 101 of the Secretariat on the responsibility of setting an example for cadres and party members, especially key cadres at all levels, affecting the leadership role of the Party organization and her reputation, causing negative public opinion and giving rise to denunciations.

On August 4, the Standing Committee of Nha Trang City Party Committee issued the above disciplinary decision against Ms. Dang Thi Phuong Mai.
