According to the report of the Forest Protection Department, from the beginning of the year, the work of forest management, protection and forest fire prevention has been closely advised, led and directed: issuing documents directing units to regularly inspect and protect forests at the root; organizing the implementation of the forest fire prevention plan for 2025; organizing 3 mobile propaganda campaigns; organizing 55 propaganda and training conferences in Nho Quan, Gia Vien districts and Hoa Lu city; repairing and moving signs for forest protection and forest fire prevention propaganda.
Forest fire prevention and fighting forces in the province have been established from the provincial level to the grassroots level, including 1 Provincial Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Command Committee; 5 District Steering Committees; 44 Commune Steering Committees; 210 mass forest protection teams. Notably, 9 forest owners have established their own forest fire prevention and fighting forces.

The provincial forest fire prevention inspection team has conducted field inspections at Ben Thanh tourist sites (Tam Coc - Bich Dong tourist area) and Thung Nham eco-tourism area. This is a place with a forest area associated with many national historical relics and especially the World Natural Cultural Heritage Trang An, so it attracts a large number of tourists to visit and experience, so there are risks of explosions and forest fires.
To ensure safe operations, businesses always maintain fire prevention and fighting safety conditions in all areas and locations under their management. Every year, areas and locations complete the Fire Prevention and Fighting Command Board; organize fire prevention and fighting drills and drills; develop plans and handle situations, fire, explosion and accident incidents; organize forces, purchase and supplement vehicles and equipment... to ensure security, order and safety, especially during events and tourist seasons.
Speaking at the inspection, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Song Tung acknowledged the results of forest fire prevention and rescue activities of tourism enterprises in recent times. However, in order for forest fire prevention to be highly effective, he requested that the Fire Prevention and Rescue Command Committees in tourist areas and spots must always implement the motto "fire prevention is the main thing, fire fighting must be urgent and active".
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that enterprises prepare well in terms of human resources, means, equipment, tools, and logistics according to the "4 on-site" motto and receive and process forest fire information accurately, promptly verify the cause of the fire, location of the fire, scale of the fire, type of forest burned, etc.
All levels, sectors, localities and enterprises need to improve coordination and smooth operations between forces participating in fire fighting; strictly implement fire fighting procedures and operational plans approved by the Forest Fire Prevention and Control and Forest Protection Command.
Along with developing scenarios and timely response plans when fires occur, it is necessary to focus on training and drills to handle situations when fires occur; strengthen propaganda on forest protection to all classes of people and tourists and update information and developments of forest fire risk levels to report to the Steering Committees for Disaster Prevention and Control and Search and Rescue at all levels for timely support.
