Ninh Binh is not only a land with many historical and cultural relics and famous landscapes, but also a place with many traditional craft villages, where many famous handicraft products are produced, containing unique cultural values, demonstrating the ingenuity and creativity of the people.
According to statistics from the Ninh Binh Rural Development Department, as of December 2023, Ninh Binh has 77 craft villages recognized as traditional craft villages. This exhibition introduces to delegates and the public traditional handicraft products of famous typical craft villages such as: Bo Bat pottery, Van Lam embroidery, Ninh Van fine art stone, Gia Thuy pottery, Kim Son sedge fine art... Thereby helping visitors to the exhibition have a basic idea of the activities and typical products with cultural values of the craft villages...
In addition, the delegates were also invited by the Organizing Committee to visit and experience the Bo Bat pottery craft. They were able to watch ceramic artisans introduce the tools and materials of the pottery craft, and demonstrate the stages of creating the product.
Thematic exhibitions and experiential activities are a way to introduce to delegates and the public the characteristics of the province's traditional crafts, thereby promoting the potential and strengths of craft villages, promoting the value of traditional cultural heritages in developing the tourism economy, and at the same time encouraging people to preserve the traditional cultural values of their ancestors in the development process.
