The high tide period from January 26 to February 3, coinciding with the Lunar New Year 2025, is a high tide period with a large peak, very favorable for the work of taking water for flooding. Therefore, Comrade Lai Van Hoan, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, requested the agricultural sector to direct the two companies exploiting the Bac and Nam Thai Binh irrigation works to assign staff and workers to be on duty 24/24 hours at the construction site, checking the water level and salinity to maximize the ability to open the sluice to take water into the system, not allowing salt water to infiltrate into the fields.
