According to the review and evaluation results, in 2024, in 9 aspects of work, the Internal Affairs Committee has excellently completed 5 contents and tasks and well completed 4 contents and tasks. The Board's leadership has also frankly identified and pointed out a number of shortcomings and problems that have not been completely overcome in the previous review period; has not effectively advised on handling the situation of "petty corruption"; the advice for leading, directing and implementing judicial reform work is not clear; a number of cases and incidents under the supervision and direction of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Provincial Steering Committee have not been effective, and the progress has been prolonged.

Speaking at the conference, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung highly appreciated the preparation work of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee, ensuring seriousness, completeness, and adherence to the content of Plan 282; reviewing frankly, democratically, and objectively; and ensuring proper procedures. The results achieved in 2024 showed that the Internal Affairs Committee has promoted its spirit and responsibility to perform its assigned functions and tasks; Fulfilling its role as an agency assisting the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee in the work of preventing corruption, negativity, and judicial reform; Performing professional tasks on Internal Affairs and the standing agency of the two provincial Steering Committees.

Regarding specific results, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung assessed: The Internal Affairs Committee has excellently completed its leadership and direction to advise the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee to promptly and effectively implement the Party's policies and orientations on anti-corruption, anti-negativity and judicial reform. In particular, it has advised the Provincial Party Committee and steering committees on more than 670 documents for guidance; organized 9 internal affairs meetings...
In the process of organizing and implementing the tasks, the Internal Affairs Committee has also systematically implemented the development of work plans and programs, clearly defining the responsibilities of each specialized department in conjunction with the responsibilities of each individual leader; closely directing in detail; promoting well and responsibly the role as the standing agency of the Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negativity and the Steering Committee for Judicial Reform. In particular, in the work of participating in the litigation and trial, it has done a good job of supervising, investigating and trying the right people for the right crimes; not allowing injustice to occur; not letting criminals escape; handling cases without creating resentment and instability in society; promptly grasping public opinion;
Be proactive in receiving and handling petitions and recommendations from the people; organize and implement them effectively; Coordinate effectively in performing tasks and work between the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee and the Central Internal Affairs Committee as well as with units and localities according to regulations and roles, thereby improving the effectiveness of all aspects of work, promptly resolving many issues related to negativity, religion, ethnicity, and human rights.
Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung also highly agreed: In the process of leading and directing the implementation of tasks, the collective of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee has strictly followed the Party's principles, with a high spirit of solidarity, unity, and collaboration within the organization. The collective leadership but individuals always uphold the spirit of setting an example, especially the leader. The results achieved by the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee have contributed positively to the results of implementing the tasks of socio-economic development and Party building of Nghe An in the past year.
2025 is the final year of the term, Nghe An must simultaneously carry out many important tasks: "accelerate, break through" to complete the set targets and goals at the highest level; successfully organize Party Congresses at all levels towards the 20th Provincial Party Congress; carry out the revolution of streamlining the apparatus. This is also the year of many important events of the country. Therefore, the Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee, in addition to performing professional tasks, must actively and responsibly participate in many contents and tasks of the province. That is to study and promptly update the regulations and guiding documents of the Central Government to apply them correctly to local realities; proactively coordinate, advise, propose amendments and supplements to regulations on internal affairs. In particular, the work of preventing corruption, waste, and negativity must be synchronous in accordance with the direction of General Secretary To Lam;
Be more proactive in advising and forecasting the situation so that the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee can promptly and effectively lead and direct the fields of internal affairs and judicial reform; Continue to clearly demonstrate political views, objectivity and impartiality in handling work; Promote the role as the standing body of the two Steering Committees on anti-corruption, anti-waste, negativity and judicial reform.
Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung also requested the Internal Affairs Committee to continue to implement the spirit of innovation, creativity, and create breakthroughs in work contents; Focus on prevention work in the spirit of "prevention first, fight later"; Propose practical and effective solutions in performing tasks;
Focus on consulting, handling complaints and denunciations more effectively and closely; Continue to promote the role and effectiveness in coordinating with central agencies and agencies in the province's Internal Affairs sector to promptly resolve and handle issues directed by the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Standing Committee;
Consolidate, perfect and stabilize the organizational structure in accordance with the spirit of "Efficient - Lean - Strong - Effective - Effective - Efficient" to carry out tasks; Strengthen training, improve capacity, expertise and professionalism of staff; Continue to promote internal solidarity; Promote the application of information technology and digital transformation.
