In an interview with Mot The Gioi , Mr. Vu Tien Thanh said: "I admire Mr. Duc, a person who is passionate about football, and does not give up football no matter how much financial difficulties HAGL Group has. HAGL Football Academy was built in 2007, where many talents have contributed to Vietnamese football. The team is loved by the whole country, there was even a time when tickets were sold out wherever the team played.
Players are trained in parallel with football and must graduate from university as well as learn English, at the same time the academy emphasizes the cultural behavior of players both on and off the field. Perhaps football fans and business people all know Mr. Duc's qualities and each person has their own feelings, but so far, we see that Mr. Duc is a prestigious person, so when in trouble, there are people to help.
I am confident that HAGL cannot be relegated even though they are currently at the bottom of the table. It is difficult, but the road is still long, with 18/26 matches including 5 first-leg matches and 13 second-leg matches of V-League 2023 - 2024."
The person who just left, former coach Kiatisak also sent his feelings to his old team: "It was difficult for me to say goodbye to HAGL Club, because I love this team so much and have many memories here, it was difficult to make the decision to leave HAGL. However, I also want to have more challenges for myself and the Hanoi Police team is the team I chose.
I hope the players will continue to play well when another coach replaces me to help the team overcome this difficult period. Although I am no longer attached to the team, I will always support the team but with all my heart, because HAGL is an important part of my career."
