Speaking at the opening ceremony, comrade Trinh Van Anh, Editor-in-Chief of Bac Giang Newspaper, Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association, informed that, along with the press nationwide, over the years, Bac Giang press has constantly innovated, developed and made important contributions to the process of building and protecting the homeland and country.
The Provincial Journalists Association, Bac Giang Newspaper, Provincial Radio and Television Station, and Song Thuong Magazine have been promoting digital transformation, applying information technology, and innovating professional activities, thereby promptly propagating the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and local political tasks.
During its operation, the Provincial Journalists Association and press agencies have carried out many meaningful activities (giving books, newspapers, gifts, scholarships to disadvantaged students, etc.), contributing to bringing the press closer to the people; consolidating the position and prestige of the press in social life.

Comrade Trinh Van Anh emphasized that the Spring Press Festival is held annually as an opportunity to honor and celebrate the achievements of journalism associated with the work and creativity of members and journalists throughout the province. At the same time, it is an opportunity for exchanges, discussions, and discussions between journalists and the public, creating a bridge between press agencies, journalists and the people.
The Giap Thin Spring Press Festival took place from February 21 to 26 with booths of Bac Giang Newspaper, the provincial Radio and Television Station, Song Thuong Magazine, the provincial Library and central press agencies stationed in Bac Giang. Also within the framework of the Spring Press Festival, Bac Giang Newspaper organized an exhibition of more than 100 beautiful photos about the province's socio-economic achievements in the past year.
With hundreds of spring newspapers, books, and magazines from central and local press agencies, beautiful photos of achievements in various fields of the province on display will help the public have a panoramic view of the province's socio-economic development achievements.
Through that, the public can see the innovation and development of the national press in general, and the Bac Giang press in particular, as well as the companionship and contribution of the press and the team of journalists in propagating the local political tasks.
This is also an opportunity for journalists to meet and listen to the opinions and contributions of readers, audiences and listeners, thereby constantly improving their political, ethical and professional qualities, and continuing to strive to excellently complete assigned tasks.

Within the framework of the opening ceremony, comrade Le Quoc Minh awarded certificates to two authors and groups of authors whose works won the 2022 National Press Award; comrade Le Thi Thu Hong awarded the Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to the group of authors Thanh Huyen, Duc Bich, Anh Hoang (Provincial Radio and Television Station) whose works won the C prize of the 2022 National Press Award.
At the same time, 11 authors and groups of authors who won journalism awards organized by central ministries and branches were commended and rewarded.
Also at the program, the Women Journalists Club of the Provincial Journalists Association presented gifts to 27 students who overcame difficulties and excelled in their studies at the following schools: Son Dong High School No. 3, Tay Yen Tu Town Middle School, Tay Yen Tu Town Primary and Secondary School, each worth 600,000 VND, funded by Bac Giang Agricultural Technical Materials Joint Stock Company, Thanh Dat Company Limited (Bac Giang) and Dang Thi Ut Business Household in Yen My District, Hung Yen Province. The Provincial Library presented 150 books to Son Dong High School No. 3.
