On February 27, information from Thanh Hoa Provincial Police said that the Thanh Hoa City Police Investigation Agency has just initiated a case, prosecuted the accused, and temporarily detained the accused Khuat Tien Thinh (19 years old, residing in Dong Ve Ward, Thanh Hoa City), to investigate the act of resisting a person on duty.
The police car was hit in the rear and damaged.
Previously, on the evening of February 20, the working group of Thanh Hoa City Police was on duty to check alcohol concentration on Truong Thi Street (Truong Thi Ward, Thanh Hoa City) and discovered Khuat Tien Thinh driving a Future motorbike without a license plate, carrying 2 people (including Thinh, there were 3 people).
The task force signaled the vehicle to stop for an administrative check and alcohol test, however, Thinh did not comply and instead accelerated and hit the task force but did not hit anyone. Then, the car driven by Thinh hit the rear of the task force's car parked on the side of the road, causing damage to the vehicle.
The working group coordinated with Truong Thi Ward Police to make a record of the incident and handed it over to the Thanh Hoa City Police Investigation Agency for further handling.
At the police station, Khuat Tien Thinh admitted his violations. Currently, the case is being further investigated and clarified by the Thanh Hoa City Police Department.
