Xuan Son scored 2 goals and had 2 assists in his debut match for the Vietnam national team. The Nam Dinh Club striker scored 7 goals and contributed greatly to the Vietnam national team's journey to win the AFF Cup 2024.
In the Female Athlete of the Year award, shooter Trinh Thu Vinh, who made her mark with special achievements at the Olympics, was honored after surpassing volleyball star Bich Tuyen.
Veteran player Tran Quyet Chien is the first Billiards athlete to be named in the Male Athlete of the Year category at the Victory Cup. The prestigious award is a perfect end to 2024 for Quyet Chien in particular and Vietnamese billiards in general.
Quyet Chien started 2024 with the 3-cushion carom World Cup championship in Bogota, then won another World Cup title in Veghel. At the 3-cushion carom team world championship, Quyet Chien and Bao Phuong Vinh continued to make world billiards talk about the championship.
In the Team of the Year category, with the gold medal at the Asian Relay Championship, the women's 4x400m athletics relay team (Quach Thi Lan, Nguyen Thi Hang, Nguyen Thi Ngoc, Hoang Thi Minh Hanh) was voted by the 2024 Victory Cup Voting Council.
During the Gala night, once again the women's national volleyball team made a mark by becoming the first team to be crowned Team of the Year twice in a row in the Victory Cup.
This is a worthy recognition for coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team after a successful 2024 when they won the continental championship AVC Challenger Cup, won third place at the FIVB Challenger Cup and qualified for the 2025 World Championship.

Coach of the year : Luu Van Hoan (National Canoeing Team Coach) trained and directed his students to win 1 gold medal, 1 silver medal at the Asian Championship, 6 gold medals at the Asian Youth and U.23 Championships, and won 1 Olympic ticket.
Outstanding foreign expert of the year : Park Chung Gun (Korea, National Shooting Team) coached and directed his students to win 1 gold medal at the Asian Championship, won 1 Olympic ticket and ranked 4th.
Team of the Year : The women's indoor volleyball national team won the continental championship AVC Challenger Cup, placed third at the FIVB Challenger Cup, and qualified for the 2025 World Championship.
