Moment Ukrainian armored vehicle torn apart by Russian firepower

In the direction of Zaporozhye, during the counterattack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a convoy of US-made Oshkosh M-ATV armored vehicles was targeted by Russian military fire. Several accurate hits were reported, some armored vehicles were damaged, and some were completely destroyed.

Earlier (September 16), AVP reported that the Russian Ministry of Defense officially confirmed that on September 11, an attack was carried out on the Dolgintsevo airport, located in the Krivoy Rog region. The attack destroyed five aircraft of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, including two MiG-29 fighters and three Su-25 attack aircraft.

Dolgintsevo airport is considered one of the most important air bases in Ukraine, where combat aircraft regularly take off for missions. The destruction of five combat vehicles in one attack is a heavy blow to the air force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in this area.

Experts note that the loss of five combat aircraft at once could seriously weaken Ukraine’s air capabilities in and around Krivoy Rog. The incident also demonstrates the effectiveness of Russian military operations.

According to official data of the Russian Ministry of Defense, to date, 472 aircraft, 249 helicopters and 6,810 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been destroyed.
