Units under Ho Chi Minh City National University plan to announce early admission scores using the results of the competency assessment exam before July 5.
Candidates admitted by aptitude test results to Ho Chi Minh City National University increased by 9.6%
Today (June 24), Ho Chi Minh City National University issued a notice on the time to announce the early admission benchmark scores using the 2024 competency assessment test (except for the high school graduation requirement).
Accordingly, by the end of June 21, Ho Chi Minh City National University had closed the registration portal for admission based on the results of the competency assessment exam. 43,498 candidates had registered for admission (an increase of 8.5% compared to last year). With a total of 215,715 registered wishes, each candidate had an average of 5 admission wishes (an increase of 13.5% compared to 2023).
Of which, units under Ho Chi Minh City National University have 32,898 candidates registering for admission based on this year's competency assessment exam scores (an increase of 9.6% compared to last year, 2023 recorded 30,027 candidates).
Notably, statistics from the online registration portal of Ho Chi Minh City National University this year also show the purpose of candidates when taking this exam. Specifically, out of a total of 43,498 candidates registered on the Ho Chi Minh City National University admission portal for 68 schools, 22,201 candidates registered for admission both inside and outside Ho Chi Minh City National University.
The number of candidates taking the exam to apply to units of Ho Chi Minh City National University is only 10,697, and the number of candidates taking the exam to apply to schools outside Ho Chi Minh City National University is 10,600.
Results will be announced before July 5th.
Representatives of Ho Chi Minh City National University note that candidates need to update the photo of the application form to the system to complete the application. Before July 5, units under Ho Chi Minh City National University will announce the admission results by the capacity assessment method (except for the University of Technology, which conducts separate admission).
Previously, the Ho Chi Minh City National University Training Board announced that the registration period for admission based on the Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment exam scores would be extended to June 15 (instead of ending on May 16 as originally planned). Ho Chi Minh City National University also extended the announcement of admission results to early July instead of the end of June as planned.
Sharing more about the announcement time of this admission result, an admission officer of a member school of Ho Chi Minh City National University said that this University still meets the general schedule of the Ministry of Education and Training, which stipulates that schools complete the early admission work before 5:00 p.m. on July 10.
This year, 109 universities and colleges used the results of the competency assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University for admission. Of these, 68 units inside and outside the university participated in the common admission system with 1,747 majors for candidates to register their wishes.
