- On the morning of September 6, the survey team of the Provincial People's Council's Social and Cultural Committee - the working group assisting the Provincial People's Council's Supervisory Committee, led by Ms. Hoang Thi Kim Van, Head of the Committee, Head of the Working Group , surveyed the situation and results of the implementation of the Project on Tourism Development of Lang Son province to 2030, period 2022 - 2025 in Bac Son district.
According to the report, in recent years, Bac Son district has always paid attention to and closely directed tourism development work, and tourism development programs and plans have been promptly implemented. Specifically, in the period from 2022 to June 2024, the District People's Committee has issued 38 documents directing and implementing tourism management and development work in the district.
Along with that, the People's Committee of Bac Son district organized seminars and famtrips to connect local tourism with other localities in the region, thereby forming a number of tourist routes such as: Hanoi - Thai Nguyen - Bac Son; Bac Son - Huu Lien...; coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to collect information and images to build a virtual reality tour system (3D digitization) for 4 tourist destinations including: Bac Son Uprising Museum, Quynh Son Community Tourism Site, Hang Hu Mandarin Garden Tourist Site, Suoi Mo Mam Eco-tourism Site; deployed the electronic accommodation declaration model at tourist destinations, tourist accommodation service businesses...
From 2022 to the end of June 2024, the total number of tourists to the district is estimated to reach over 373,000; total tourism revenue is estimated to reach 206 billion VND. Currently, Bac Son district has 10 tourist attractions and 31 tourist accommodation establishments.
During the survey, the delegation members requested the leaders, departments and professional offices of the Bac Son District People's Committee; representatives of the Bac Quynh Commune People's Committee to clarify some issues such as the number of international tourists; difficulties and obstacles in building community tourism spots and ASEAN-standard community villages; funding for investment in tourism development infrastructure; solutions to improve the quality of the workforce directly serving tourism, etc.
Speaking at the conclusion of the survey, the head of the delegation suggested that the district continue to pay attention to implementing solutions to effectively implement the tourism development project of the province and the district; review all projects being implemented in the district, compare them with the project objectives and tourism development plan of the district to suit the reality, creating positive effects; arrange budget funds, mobilize social resources to restore relics to serve tourism development, improve capacity for those directly involved in tourism; pay attention to building quality ASEAN community tourism destinations; research, build and promote typical tourism products of the district...
