Apple has officially launched the iPhone 16 generation with a series of new upgrades, making many users confused about whether to choose the standard iPhone 16 or the Pro version.

Camera: The Biggest Difference
A big plus for the iPhone Pro versions is the high-end camera for filming and taking photos. The dual camera cluster on the iPhone 16 includes a 48MP fusion camera and a 12MP ultrawide camera, while the iPhone 16 Pro is equipped with a 48MP fusion camera, a 48MP ultrawide camera, and a 12MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. On the front will be a 12MP TrueDepth camera.

In terms of video, the iPhone 16 can shoot 4K video at 60 frames per second, along with spatial video at 30 frames per second. The iPhone 16 Pro also shoots space video but in 4K resolution at 120 frames per second, giving the iPhone a slo-mo effect.
So, if you want to choose a product as your main photography tool, the iPhone 16 Pro is a better choice.
Size, screen and weight
The iPhone 16 is equipped with a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED screen with a 60Hz refresh rate, while the screen on the iPhone 16 Pro is 6.3 inches in size with a 120Hz refresh rate. Both have a pixel density of 460 ppi and a maximum brightness of 2,000 nits.

The iPhone 16 measures 147.6 x 71.6 x 7.8 mm and weighs 170g, while the iPhone 16 Pro measures 149.6 x 71.5 x 8.3 mm and weighs 199g. The materials are also different, while the iPhone 16 uses an aluminum case, the iPhone 16 Pro uses a titanium case.

The color options on the iPhone 16 include: Black, pink, white, teal, and lapis lazuli. The iPhone 16 Pro has color options including: Black, white, natural titanium, and desert. Both devices support USB-C charging ports and do not have fingerprint sensors.
Battery, processor and software
Apple did not disclose battery capacity but said the iPhone 16 provides up to 22 hours of video playback and 18 hours of streaming content, while the iPhone 16 Pro provides up to 27 hours of video playback and 22 hours of streaming content.

Both devices support 20W wired charging, MagSafe wireless charging up to 25W with a 30W or higher adapter. They also support Qi2 charging up to 15W.
The iPhone 16 is powered by the regular A18 chip, while the iPhone 16 Pro is powered by the more powerful A18 Pro chip. Both come with iOS 18 and support Apple Intelligence.
Price and machine capacity
In the Vietnamese market, iPhone 16 costs 22,999 million VND for the 128GB version, 25,999 million VND for the 256GB version and 31,999 million VND for the 512GB version. iPhone 16 Pro costs 28,999 million VND for the 128GB version, 31,999 million VND for the 256GB version, 34,999 million VND for the 512GB version and 43,999 million VND for the 1TB version.
