Opening of the 2024 literary script writing camp

At the opening ceremony of the Writing Camp, the author observed a minute of silence for the victims of storm No. 3 (Yagi) and the recent floods in the northern provinces.

The creative camp took place from September 12-19, with the participation of 26 screenwriters, stage, film and television directors; writers; theorists and critics from 17 units nationwide.

The 2024 literary scriptwriting camp is an activity to concretize the Party and State's policies on developing literature and art in the new period; to implement the conclusion of the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong at the 2021 National Cultural Conference on promoting the strength of the artist team in creating literary and artistic works of high artistic and ideological quality, meeting the requirements of the country...

According to Mr. Tran Huong Duong, Deputy Director of the Department of Performing Arts, this writing camp is a professional activity, with the nature of exchanging experiences and inspiring in the field of writing literary scripts; seeing the importance and need to innovate and improve the quality of works to create good stage plays, cinematographic and television works that are attractive to audiences. The writing camp for literary script writers in 2024 is an activity to concretize the policies of the Party and State on developing literature and arts in the new period; a specific activity to implement Project No. 939/QD-BVHTTDL dated April 22, 2022 of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on improving creative capacity and literary theory and criticism for the period 2022-2025, with a vision to 2030.

Hopefully, Lam Dong province will appear more and more, more authentically, more vividly in literary and artistic works and will always be a rich and fresh source of topics for writers and artists to continue to be passionate and creative, contributing to the construction of Vietnamese literary works, rich in national identity, modern and humane.

Within the framework of the writing camp, there are professional activities "Some literary and artistic activities towards the 2024 Da Lat Flower Festival" and professional activities on the situation of the team of writers of literary, theatrical and cinematic scripts; the general situation of current script quality; some issues in improving script quality.

At the ceremony, the Military Library donated nearly 200 books to the Lam Dong Provincial Library. After the opening ceremony of the writing camp, delegates and screenwriters, directors, writers, and critics visited and offered incense at the Au Lac Temple (commonly known as Hung Temple) in Da Lat City./.
