On the evening of September 28, the Chi Linh - Hai Duong Festival 2023 opened at Sao Do Square, Chi Linh City.

Speaking at the Chi Linh - Hai Duong Festival 2023, comrade Tran Duc Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee emphasized that Chi Linh is a sacred land, a land of "spiritual land and talented people"; a majestic landscape painting, the heroic spirit and majesty of nature, history, culture of the East and the whole country. With priceless cultural heritages such as Con Son - Kiep Bac - Thanh Mai - Ngu Dai Son - Chi Linh Bat Co associated with heroes and heroes forever shining in green history, blending nature and culture, intertwined with the kind and generous people here, are rich and attractive resources for developing the tourism economy.
Inheriting and promoting the proud tradition of the homeland, the Party Committee, army and people of all ethnic groups in Chi Linh City have closely followed the guidelines and policies of the Party and State, focusing on building and developing the socio-economy, paying attention to cultural development so that culture is truly the spiritual foundation, the resource and driving force for development.

Comrade Tran Duc Thang highly appreciated and acknowledged the city's initiative in organizing the Chi Linh - Hai Duong Festival 2023 to gradually build a unique and creative cultural brand on the basis of the nation's core cultural values, demonstrating the vitality, transmission and spread of the nation's cultural quintessence; creating opportunities to connect cultural heritages from localities across the country.
He believes that through the series of events in the program, it will be an important starting foundation for Chi Linh City, as well as Hai Duong Province, to continue to have new developments in the tourism service industry. It is a premise to attract investors, change the face of the tourism industry in both quality and quantity, gradually turning tourism into a spearhead economic sector in the economic sectors of the city and Hai Duong Province, contributing to effectively implementing the Resolution of the 17th Hai Duong Provincial Party Congress.

The art program at the opening ceremony includes 3 chapters: "Echoes of the origin", "Quintessence of convergence" and "Aspiration to shine" with many unique art performances staged on a grand scale, with a large number of artists. In addition, there are performances by the Vietnam Lion and Dragon Dance Federation from 10 provinces and cities... Within the framework of the opening ceremony program, there are low-altitude fireworks displays, rotating fireworks, parachute displays and large hot air balloons,... creating a special impression, opening a unique, attractive and novel Festival.
The Chi Linh - Hai Duong Festival 2023 has the following programs: Opening ceremony (evening of September 28), Full Moon Festival with the theme "Lanterns light up the dreams of children in Chi Linh - Hai Duong" (evening of September 29); Festival of practicing the worship of the Mother Goddess of the Three Palaces at the National Relic Site of Sinh Temple - Hoa Temple (2 days September 29 and 30); display and introduction of OCOP products, typical handicraft products and exhibition of ornamental plants (opening on the morning of September 28); organization of folk games, organization of "Vietnamese Mid-Autumn Festival" experience space for children (on September 28 and 29); Mass performance and exchange program of folk dance and sports dance with the participation of 2,023 Chi Linh women - symbolizing 2023 - the first year of organizing the Festival in Chi Linh (September 25); Coordinate the organization of activities of the Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival in 2023.
This is the first time Chi Linh City has organized a Festival. The activities in the Festival are held at the same time as the Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival 2023 - a particularly important cultural and tourism festival of the city.
Chi Linh City hopes that through the activities of the Chi Linh - Hai Duong Festival 2023, it will create new tourism products; introduce and promote achievements in socio-economic development, historical - cultural values, beliefs, celebrities, and tourist destinations of Chi Linh City in particular and Hai Duong province in general; improve the spiritual and cultural life of the people and tourists, contributing to attracting investment and developing the socio-economy of the city and province.
