Thai male tourists commented that the natural scenery in Vietnam is very beautiful. When driving a motorbike, they can comfortably enjoy and admire the impressive landscape along both sides of the road.

In particular, on the way to Mai Chau (Hoa Binh), when passing Da Trang Pass, Sittidet was extremely surprised by the strangely beautiful scenery here.

Next to the pass there is a rest stop area with a few small stalls of local people, selling a variety of items from food to agricultural products.

Here, Sittidet took the opportunity to visit the surroundings and was amazed by the view of Da Trang Pass covered in white.

He said this place reminded him of the snowy scenes often seen in movies.

“There is a large rock next to the pass that visitors can climb to see the view from above. The area is a bit strange but beautiful, white as snow,” Sittidet described.

White Stone Pass is a popular check-in location in Hoa Binh, known as the "Northern European hill" thanks to its majestic scenery, covered in white all year round.

Da Trang Pass (also known as Thung Khe Pass) is located at an altitude of more than 1,000m above sea level, on National Highway 6, connecting Tan Lac and Mai Chau districts (Hoa Binh province), about 120km northwest of Hanoi.

The reason for this name is because this area was originally a limestone mountain area. When the mountain was broken to make way, limestone slabs from above slid down, covering the landscape below in white.

Many tourists who have been to Da Trang Pass commented that there are 4 types of weather in a day. The temperature will gradually decrease from morning to evening.

If the weather in the morning is usually clear and the noon sun is a bit harsh, the afternoon air will be milder and in the evening the temperature will drop and the weather will be cold.

Two Thai guests enjoyed some rustic dishes while stopping to rest at the side of the pass.

In addition to visiting the foot of the pass, Sittidet and his wife also took the opportunity to enjoy some of the rustic dishes sold here such as bamboo rice, grilled corn, and grilled meat.

“The grilled corn is so fragrant and the price is reasonable, only 10,000 VND, about 15 baht,” Sittidet said.

The young man from the land of the Golden Temple also commented that the grilled pork was very delicious, well marinated, giving it an attractive flavor. “Eating grilled meat in cold weather like this is great,” he shared his feelings.

Sharing with VietNamNet reporter, Sittidet revealed that he arrived at Da Trang Pass on December 7, 2024. The time he visited here was 4:00 p.m., the weather was cold.

“I was really impressed by the scenery at Da Trang Pass, as beautiful as snow falling in Europe,” he said.

Sittidet said that the first time he traveled to Vietnam was 2 years ago. After that, because of his love for the scenery, people and cuisine in the S-shaped land, he made several more trips here.
