Extending the term of office of Chairman of Vietnam Chemical Group

According to Official Dispatch No. 263 dated April 17, 2023, the Prime Minister has agreed to extend the term of office of Chairman of the Board of Members of Vietnam Chemical Group for Mr. Nguyen Phu Cuong until the retirement age as prescribed.

Mr. Nguyen Phu Cuong was born on May 1, 1963, graduated from Hanoi University of Science and Technology and received his Master's degree from Ghent University (Kingdom of Belgium).

In 2002, he moved to the Ministry of Industry (now the Ministry of Industry and Trade) after 14 years working at the Institute of Technology Application Research. Mr. Nguyen Phu Cuong was appointed as Director of the Department of Science and Technology (Ministry of Industry and Trade) from November 2014.

On February 8, 2018, in Decision 188, the Prime Minister assigned and appointed Mr. Nguyen Phu Cuong to hold the position of Chairman of the Board of Members of Vietnam Chemical Group.

On the same day, the Prime Minister also issued a document agreeing to extend the term of office of Deputy Minister of Transport for Mr. Le Dinh Tho until he reaches retirement age according to regulations .
