After a journey lasting nearly 16 hours with a transit at Incheon International Airport (South Korea), at 1:30 p.m. (local time) today (October 24), the Vietnamese women's team arrived in Tashkent (Uzbekistan) to prepare for the matches in Group C, the second qualifying round of the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Procedures had been prepared in advance for the team's entry into Uzbekistan to go smoothly. With support from the Uzbekistan Football Federation and local organizers, the Vietnamese women's team had no difficulty entering the country and quickly moved to the Al Anvar hotel, about 4 km from the airport.

This afternoon, Coach Mai Duc Chung and his staff arranged for the players to do some light exercise at the hotel to regain their strength after a long journey and adapt to the weather in Tashkent.
Earlier this morning, striker Huynh Nhu also flew from Portugal to Uzbekistan to join the Vietnam women's team. The striker from Tra Vinh will have 1 day to get back in sync with her teammates, before entering the first match against the host team Uzbekistan at Bunyodkor Stadium (7pm on October 26).

Tomorrow (October 25), coach Mai Duc Chung and player Huynh Nhu will attend a press conference before the match at 2:00 p.m. (local time) at Bunyodkor Stadium.
In the second qualifying round of the 2024 Paris Olympics in Asia, the Vietnamese women's team is in Group C. Huynh Nhu and her teammates will face Uzbekistan (7 p.m., October 26), India (5 p.m., October 29) and Japan (5 p.m., November 1). The second qualifying round of the 2024 Paris Olympics in Asia has 3 groups (4 teams each). The top three teams and the second-placed team with the best results will advance to the third qualifying round. In the third qualifying round, the four teams are divided into two pairs to play two matches. The two winning teams will qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
