In the above match, the Vietnamese women's team faced many difficulties against an opponent with superior physique and physical strength.
Coach Mai Duc Chung's team conceded two goals in the 23rd and 58th minutes. However, the girls in red still played with determination and narrowed the score to 1-2 in the 87th minute thanks to Ngan Thi Van Su.
This was the first defeat for the Vietnamese women's team during their European training trip. Previously, coach Mai Duc Chung's team beat Eintracht Frankfurt's youth team 2-1 and defeated Schott Mainz Club 2-0.
