The auction of 32 plots of land in Kim Hoa commune will be postponed to September 18. Previously, many districts on the outskirts of Hanoi had to postpone land auctions to wait for inspection results from the authorities.
Vietnam Auction Joint Stock Company recently announced a change in the auction time for 32 land plots in Bach Da village, Kim Hoa commune, Me Linh district, Hanoi (phase 6).
Accordingly, this auction will be moved to 2:00 p.m. on September 18, instead of September 12 as previously announced. The venue is still the hall of the Me Linh District Cultural, Information and Sports Center.
The auctioned lots have an area of about 73.5 - 187.5 m2, starting price ranges from 21.7 - 32.8 million VND/m2. The lowest deposit is 405 million VND, the highest is more than 1.2 billion VND.

For customers who have already paid the deposit to participate in the auction, the application will be reserved until the date of condition review. For customers who have not yet paid the deposit to participate in the auction, the submission deadline will be extended until the afternoon of September 16.
In a quick discussion with the leaders of Vietnam Auction Joint Stock Company, the auction was postponed due to weather conditions. Previously, many land auctions in the suburbs of Hanoi had to be postponed or rescheduled to wait for the inspection team of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (TN&MT) to make conclusions about price inflation and speculation, especially in areas in Hoai Duc and Thanh Oai districts.
In a recent meeting, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Le Minh Ngan said that there is currently no conclusion on whether there are any loopholes or violations in the auction process in the two districts. The Ministry is still continuing to review and if violations are discovered, it will advise competent authorities on a handling plan.
Previously, in June 2024, Me Linh district successfully auctioned 51 plots of land in Lien Mac commune. The plots of land have an area of 95 - 263.2 m2. The starting price is about 18.4 - 20.6 million VND/m2, the highest winning bid is determined to be 38.8 million VND/m2. The total amount collected for the budget is 169 billion VND, 47 billion higher than expected.
According to Mr. Dinh Ngoc Thuc, Director of the Land Fund Development Center of Me Linh District, in the first 6 months of this year, the district successfully organized 10 land auctions, collecting 1,062 billion VND for the budget. This year, the district plans to organize auctions of about 500 land plots, mainly concentrated in 4 communes of Kim Hoa, Lien Mac, Tam Dong and Trang Viet.
