Accordingly, the British Council announced that it will cancel the IELTS test on September 7 and the morning of September 8 in the provinces and cities of Hanoi, Hue, Vinh, Hai Phong and Thai Nguyen to ensure the safety of candidates and the quality of testing activities due to the complicated developments of super typhoon Yagi.
A representative of the British Council said that they have sent messages to affected candidates to inform them of support measures. Candidates whose exam schedules are affected are asked to check their emails from the British Council or contact them directly via [email protected] for instructions on rescheduling their exams free of charge.
Similarly, IELTS IDP posted on its official fanpage an urgent announcement to cancel the IELTS test schedule on September 7 in Hanoi, Ha Long and Hai Phong to ensure the safety of candidates.
