Implementing Directive No. 21 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on mobilizing and supporting the construction and repair of houses for the poor and people with difficult housing circumstances, Hung Nguyen district has focused on propaganda, mobilization and mobilizing resources to support the construction of houses for the poor.
As of December 20, after 10 months of implementation, the whole district has mobilized more than 4.8 billion VND from many organizations and individuals inside and outside the district.

In addition to contributing to support the poor in building houses through the District Fund for the Poor, many organizations, agencies and units directly support families in building houses. From the above mobilized resources, up to now, 91 households have been supported to complete their houses and put them into use, including 73 newly built houses and 18 repaired houses; with a total cost of 4.1 billion VND (the general support level for building new houses is 50 million VND/house and for repairing is 25 million VND/house).
Currently, in addition to continuing to allocate mobilized resources for the poor and people with housing difficulties to build and repair houses, the Party Committee, the government and the entire political system from the district to the grassroots level continue to call on organizations, agencies, units, philanthropists, businesses, children living far from home and people in the district to support money and working days to build houses for the poor and people with housing difficulties; ensure the completion of supporting the construction of houses for the poor according to the roadmap, by 2025, a total of 269 houses will be completed.
