HP launches the world's lightest 14-inch gaming laptop

According to GizChina , the Omen Transcend 14 is the world's lightest 14-inch gaming laptop, while also boasting top-notch hardware specifications. In addition, HP also announced the Omen Transcend 16-inch gaming laptop.

Omen Transcend 14 weighs only 1.6 kg

The Omen Transcend 14 is a compact laptop with a HyperX RGB keyboard. It boasts a 14-inch IMAX Enhanced certified OLED display with a wraparound design. The display has a 2.8K resolution, 120Hz variable refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 500 nits of peak brightness, HDR support, and weighs just 1.6kg, making it the world's lightest 14-inch gaming laptop.

Inside, the Omen Transcend 14 is equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 9 CPU combined with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 GPU, up to 32GB of RAM and up to 2TB of SSD. HP says the product is equipped with an advanced cooling system co-designed with Intel to improve heat dissipation. The 71Whr battery on the Omen Transcend 14 promises up to 11.5 hours of use and supports 140W charging.

Connectivity options on the HP Omen Transcend 14 include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, USB-A port, USB-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The HP Omen Transcend 14 comes in Jet Black and Ceramic White , starts at $1,499 and is available for pre-order starting January 8. Meanwhile, the Omen Transcend 16 with a 16-inch 4K 240Hz display will start at $1,900.
