Quick Share - Quick Share

For Samsung users, they may be familiar with the Quick Share feature. Meanwhile, not all Android users like the Nearby Share feature. And to bring the best experience, Google said it has partnered with Samsung to bring the best sharing solution between Android devices.

Quick Share will provide peer-to-peer content sharing across all devices in the Android ecosystem, from phones to Chromebooks. The companies have also worked with Windows PC manufacturers to integrate Quick Share as a pre-installed app.

Expanded Fast Pair support

Google is making Fast Pair work more seamlessly with Bluetooth headphones on Android. Next month, the search giant plans to expand Fast Pair support to include Chromecast with Google TV and other built-in devices expected later this year.

Google focuses on expanding the interactivity of the Android ecosystem.

Ability to stream multiple applications and devices

Android users can now stream TikTok content from their phones to Chromecast-enabled devices, and more devices are planned to get the streaming feature, including LG’s 2024 TV lineup and even LG Hospitality Healthcare, which will allow content to be streamed to the TV without needing to log in to the app.

Additionally, Google also allows users to transfer content playing on Spotify and YouTube Music from Pixel phones to docked Pixel Tablets.

More device interactivity with Matter

As more consumers adopt smart devices, Google wants to ensure that devices from different companies can interact. To that end, the company says it will continue to use the Matter protocol (a new standard for smart home platforms), LG TVs, as well as a number of Google devices and the Android TV operating system, as the hub for Google Home.

Android Auto in Car

Android Auto will soon be available on the Ford Mustang Mach-E and F-150 Lightning. Additionally, electric vehicles compatible with Android Auto will be able to share real-time battery information with Google Maps to enhance the driving experience by providing an estimated battery level upon arrival at a destination. These new features will also help users estimate how long it will take to charge their vehicle.

Many leading car brands will also better integrate apps like Google Assistant and Google Play directly into the cockpit display. This new addition will be rolled out to brands like Nissan, Lincoln, and several others.
