Meeting to celebrate the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and awarding the 26/3 prize

On March 26, the Provincial Youth Union held a meeting to celebrate the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2024) and presented the March 26 award. Members of the Provincial Party Committee: Nguyen Long Bien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Le Van Binh, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Lam Dong, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee attended.

At the meeting, delegates reviewed the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. Discussions and exchanges were held between former union officials and exemplary union officials, union members and young people with the theme “Proud of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union”.

Speaking at the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee commended and acknowledged the contributions of the province's youth to the overall development of the province over the past 32 years of re-establishment. He hoped that all levels of the Youth Union would strengthen political, ideological, moral and lifestyle education for young people; continue to promote the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle through specific movements and actions, building young people with a strong political stance and pure moral qualities, contributing to the successful implementation of the goals of the Resolution of the 14th Provincial Party Congress and resolutions of Party congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term. Continue to innovate the content and methods of operation of Youth Union organizations at all levels; apply information technology and digital transformation in organization and operation. Focus on innovating the work of mobilizing, uniting and gathering young people; Implement movements and activities in accordance with the practical needs and aspirations of the Youth Union members, gradually consolidating a strong Youth Union organization worthy of being the Party's reliable reserve force and the revolutionary shock force of the government and people.

On this occasion, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee received the exhibition "Traditional space of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Ninh Thuan province" from the Ninh Thuan Provincial Former Youth Union Officials Club. The Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee awarded the March 26 award to 7 outstanding grassroots youth union officials with outstanding achievements in the province's youth union work and youth movement in 2023; awarded 10 "Lighting up dreams" scholarships to poor and studious students; commended 5 individuals who are authors and good people, good deeds in the first quarter of 2024. With the authorization of the Central Youth Union Secretariat, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee awarded emulation flags to 2 collectives and certificates of merit to 2 collectives and 3 individuals with outstanding achievements for 3 consecutive years, from 2021-2023.
