(QNO) - This morning, December 29, the 19th session of the Provincial People's Council (10th term) closed after completing the proposed contents and programs and voting to pass 7 resolutions in various fields.
Speaking at the closing session, according to Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Phan Viet Cuong, in addition to 3 resolutions on personnel work and confirming the results of the vote of confidence for 28 people holding positions elected by the Provincial People's Council, the remaining resolutions issued at this session are very important for the task of socio-economic development, maintaining national defense and security, and ensuring social security of the province in the coming time.
Regarding the organization of the vote of confidence for those holding positions elected by the Provincial People's Council, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Phan Viet Cuong stated: With their responsibilities, the delegates of the Provincial People's Council have spent time researching, grasping information, and objectively and impartially evaluating the prestige and results of performing assigned tasks and powers of those who are subject to the vote of confidence.
Through this result, the Provincial People's Council hopes that each cadre who receives a vote of confidence will strive, practice, and cultivate political qualities, ethics, and lifestyle, enhance the courage to think, act, and take responsibility, and further promote enthusiasm to contribute and improve the effectiveness of the work assigned by the Party and the people.
“The results of the vote of confidence are also the basis for competent agencies and organizations to consider planning, training, fostering, arranging and using cadres. It helps to enhance the responsibility of cadres in performing public duties, contributing to improving the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of the activities of the Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, and related departments and branches, making a positive contribution to the overall development of the province" - said comrade Phan Viet Cuong.
According to Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Phan Viet Cuong, the 10th Provincial People's Council has gone through more than half of its term with many positive innovations, ensuring and synchronizing the functions, tasks and powers according to the law, increasingly promoting its role as a local state power agency, representing the will, aspirations, legitimate interests and mastery of the people.
During the remaining term of 2021 - 2026, the Provincial People's Council believes that, under the leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; the decisions, management and operation of the Provincial People's Council and the Provincial People's Committee; the close coordination of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, socio-political organizations, together with the consensus of all levels, sectors, business community and all people in the province, the province will definitely overcome all difficulties and challenges, successfully implement the goals and tasks of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security for the entire term of 2021 - 2026.

Since the beginning of the term, the 10th Provincial People's Council has successfully organized 19 meetings in accordance with regulations and reviewed and issued 221 resolutions in various fields.
Thereby, it has created an important legal basis for the direction and administration of authorities at all levels; resolving urgent contents and tasks in implementing the socio-economic development plan, ensuring national defense and security of the province annually and for the period 2021 - 2026.
