On December 24, the national high school exam for the 2024-2025 school year officially opened at 68 examination councils nationwide. This year, the total number of registered candidates is 6,482, an increase of 663 candidates compared to the 2023-2024 school year.
This year's exam includes 13 subjects, including math, physics, chemistry, biology, computer science, literature, history, geography, English, Russian, French, Chinese, and Japanese.
The new point of this year's national excellent student selection exam is that for the first time, Japanese is included in the exam.
In addition, this year is also the first year that the Ministry of Education and Training has applied the method of transporting exam papers through the Government Cipher Committee's system nationwide. The transport of exam papers has been smooth and fast.
The exam will take place on December 25 and 26.
On December 25, there will be written exams in math, physics, chemistry, biology, literature, history, geography, English, Russian, French, Chinese, Japanese and computer programming for information technology.
On December 26, there will be written exams in math, physics, chemistry, and biology; oral exams in English, Russian, French, Chinese, and Japanese; and computer programming exams in information technology.
The exam results are expected to be announced by the end of January 2025.
