The Ministry of Education and Training said that nationwide, 1,046,156 out of 1,050,224 registered candidates took the high school graduation math exam this afternoon, reaching a rate of 99.61%. The number of candidates who did not attend the exam was 4,068.
This afternoon, candidates completed the math subject in the 2024 high school graduation exam.
In this exam, 3 candidates violated the regulations, of which 2 candidates were suspended from the exam, 1 case received a disciplinary reprimand (in 2023, 4 candidates were suspended from the math exam).
The Ministry of Education and Training assessed that the math exam took place safely, orderly, seriously, and in accordance with regulations.
Tomorrow morning, June 28, candidates will continue to take the combined exam of natural sciences (physics, chemistry, biology) and social sciences (history, geography, civics) from 7:35 a.m., each subject lasting 50 minutes.
2024 High School Graduation Math Exam Is Easier Than 2018!
According to regulations, candidates can choose one of the two combined exams mentioned above. Statistics from the Ministry of Education and Training show that the number of candidates choosing the social science exam is overwhelming compared to the natural science exam.
Specifically this year, only 37% of candidates chose the natural science exam, while the remaining 63% chose the social science exam.
This year's high school graduation exam has 1,071,393 candidates registered nationwide (an increase of more than 45,000 candidates compared to 2023).
Candidates will take the exam at 2,323 exam locations (an increase of 51 locations compared to 2023) with 45,149 exam rooms. According to the Ministry of Education and Training, at the end of the exam registration procedure yesterday afternoon, 1,060,356 candidates nationwide came to complete the procedure, reaching a rate of 98.96%.
