National Scientific Conference "Theoretical and practical issues on building culture in the Party in the new period"

(NADS) - On the afternoon of January 15, in Hanoi, the Central Propaganda Department coordinated with the Central Theoretical Council, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, and the Truth National Political Publishing House to organize the National Scientific Conference "Theoretical and practical issues on building culture in the Party in the new period".

Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department spoke at the Workshop .

In his concluding remarks at the workshop, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, and Head of the Party Central Committee's Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia emphasized that in order to promote the work of building culture within the Party, contributing to building a truly clean and strong Party, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new period, it is necessary to carry out many key tasks and solutions.

Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia mentioned the strict implementation of regulations on setting examples for cadres and Party members, especially leaders and heads at all levels in the political system. Proactively detect, combat, prevent and repel signs of degradation in political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, "self-evolution", "self-transformation", corruption, waste and negative behavior; at the same time, promote more effectively the role and responsibility of the subjects, especially the role and responsibility of Party committees and heads of Party committees at all levels in implementing cultural development in the Party.

Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia affirmed: "Focus on strengthening the protection of the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous, hostile, distorted, and defamatory views of the Party's good cultural values, resolutely and persistently attacking and defeating the "peaceful evolution" plots and tricks of hostile forces.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang - Politburo member, Director of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Council of Theory delivered the opening speech.
