Dai Loc Farmers' Association supports the construction of 11 "Farmer's Shelter" houses

(QNO) - The Farmers' Association of Dai Loc district has just held a conference to summarize the association's work and the farmers' movement in 2023, deploy key tasks in 2024; and at the same time, quickly report the results of the 8th Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Farmers' Association.

Mr. Truong Huu Mai - Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Dai Loc district said that in 2023, the associations at all levels from district to grassroots level actively organized many practical activities and were highly appreciated by all levels and sectors. Notably, the successful organization of the Congress of Farmers' Associations at the commune level. Dai Loc Farmers' Association was chosen by the Farmers' Association of Quang Nam province to organize the district-level model congress for the 2023-2028 term.

The unit organized a rural market called “Connecting Dai Loc agricultural products”; organized a 7-a-side football tournament... Mobilized and supported the construction of 11 “Farmer’s Shelters”, presented 10 breeding cows, 150 breeding pigs and 310 chickens. Mobilized and supported more than 3 billion VND in livelihoods and gifts for poor farmer members. The District Farmers’ Association also guaranteed and managed loan sources with a total amount of more than 140 billion VND for 3,224 borrowers.

In 2023, Dai Loc District Farmers' Association was assessed by Quang Nam Provincial Farmers' Association as having excellently completed its tasks, and was ranked second in the emulation cluster of Quang Nam province's delta.

At the conference, the District Farmers' Association was awarded 5 Certificates of Merit from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association, 1 Certificate of Merit from the Quang Nam Provincial Farmers' Association; The District Farmers' Association awarded 16 Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the association's work and farmers' movement in 2023.
