Online conference to deploy judicial tasks for the last 6 months of the year

Attending the conference at Ninh Binh bridge point were comrade Pham Minh Thuong, Director of the Department of Justice; leaders of a number of relevant departments and branches.

In the first 6 months of the year, cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the Judiciary sector have closely followed the Resolutions and directions of the Party, the National Assembly, the Government and the Prime Minister in the work of building and enforcing laws, disseminating and educating laws, etc. Resolutely implementing programs and work plans in line with the socio-economic development situation of the country. Timely developing, promulgating and adjusting programs and work plans to promptly implement, ensuring progress and quality of assigned tasks.

Most areas of the Ministry of Justice have increased compared to the same period in 2023, notably: The work of building and perfecting institutions and laws has been focused on and achieved many positive results. Many projects and drafts of normative documents (DOLs) under the management of the sector have been approved by the National Assembly and promulgated by the Government. The appraisal of DOLs has been focused on and improved; the inspection and review of DOLs have been carried out promptly, contributing to ensuring the consistency, publicity, transparency and feasibility of the legal system.

The field of judicial support and judicial administration continues to be improved, meeting the requirements of preventing and combating corruption, negativity, state management, simplifying administrative procedures, creating convenience for people and businesses. Communication and dissemination of policies, laws, and mediation at the grassroots level are effectively organized and implemented. International cooperation on law has achieved many important results...

The above results have made important contributions to socio-economic development, ensuring national defense, security, and social order and safety of the country.

In Ninh Binh, in the first 6 months of 2024, the Justice sector has synchronously deployed all areas of work; proactively coordinated with relevant departments and branches to advise the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee on many contents on institutional building, contributing to the implementation of local socio-economic development goals.

The Judicial sector coordinated to advise on the drafting of a Resolution on the development of the cultural industry of Ninh Binh province to 2030, with a vision to 2045; a draft Resolution of the Provincial Party Committee on building Ninh Binh into a centrally-run city with the characteristics of a millennium heritage urban area and a creative city; developing a Project and Resolution to submit to the Politburo on the construction and development of Ninh Binh province to 2035, with a vision to 2050; reviewing and completing the Ninh Binh Provincial Planning dossier in accordance with the content of the Prime Minister's approval decision...

The dissemination and education of law has gone into depth with many diverse and rich forms. State management in the fields of administration and judicial support has been strengthened. Notarization, authentication, civil status, and property auction activities have achieved positive results. The application of information technology and digital transformation in handling administrative procedures has been enhanced.

The Judicial sector has closely coordinated with the Central agencies, agencies of the Party, People's Council, Vietnam Fatherland Front, agencies, organizations, and socio-political organizations of the province in performing tasks in the assigned sectors, fields, and areas.

At the conference, delegates from ministries, branches and localities discussed and agreed on key tasks for the last 6 months of the year: Continue to thoroughly grasp, advise on timely institutionalization, and effectively implement resolutions, directives, conclusions, and directive documents of the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, the National Assembly, the Government, and the Prime Minister related to the areas of work of the Ministry of Justice. Effectively implement the law and ordinance-making program of the National Assembly and the National Assembly Standing Committee.

Effectively carry out the tasks of the Judiciary sector according to Project No. 06 of the Prime Minister. Strengthen the effectiveness and efficiency of state management, improve the quality of public services in the fields of civil status, nationality, and authentication. Focus on improving the quality of training and fostering judicial and legal human resources with professional qualifications and strong political will, meeting the requirements of international integration...

In his concluding remarks at the conference, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice Le Thanh Long acknowledged and commended the achievements of the Judicial sector in the first 6 months of the year. In order to successfully complete the Judicial tasks in the last 6 months of 2024, he requested that the Judicial agencies promote the achieved results, overcome shortcomings and limitations, continue to thoroughly grasp, advise and effectively implement the tasks and solutions set out; proactively inspect and review legal documents and continue to rectify discipline and order in the civil judgment enforcement system... The Judicial sector of localities closely follows the direction of local Party committees and authorities, the direction of ministries and branches to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
