Preparatory Conference of the Secretariat of the 2025 Spring Meeting Program

On the afternoon of January 9, in Ha Long City, the Preparatory Conference of the Secretariat of the 2025 Spring Meeting Program and the 16th Joint Working Committee Conference between the provinces of Quang Ninh, Lang Son, Cao Bang, Ha Giang (Vietnam) and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China) took place.

At the conference, representatives of departments and branches of 5 provinces/regions contributed many opinions related to the organization plan, preparation of content documents, financial mechanisms, logistics... to serve the 2025 Spring Meeting Program between the Provincial Party Secretaries of 4 Vietnamese provinces and the Party Secretary of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China).

The program is expected to last for 3 days in February 2025 in Ha Long City (Quang Ninh). In addition to meetings and talks, this year's program will include activities to display and introduce OCOP products of 5 provinces/regions; promote trade and tourism investment; sign bilateral documents between provinces/regions; visit Ha Long Bay, etc.

Over the past 10 years, the Spring Meeting mechanism has actively contributed to promoting the relationship between the two Parties, the two countries and the people of Vietnam and China. The program will be an important occasion to evaluate and summarize the results of implementing the common perceptions reached at previous meetings. At the same time, it will be the basis for unifying the contents of cooperation in the coming time, continuing to persistently strengthen the exchange and cooperation activities between the parties in an increasingly comprehensive and substantive manner, bringing practical benefits in the fields of economy, trade, tourism, health, education - training, border management, opening and upgrading border gates, people-to-people exchange, etc.
