On September 15, the Faculty of International Law (Diplomatic Academy) successfully organized the debate round of the 2024 Diplomatic Academy Law Presentation Competition.

Attending the competition, on behalf of the Faculty of International Law, there were: Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan Anh - Director of the East Sea Institute, Head of the Faculty of International Law; Postgraduate student, Master of Science Tran Huu Duy Minh - Deputy Head of the Faculty of International Law, and lecturers of the Faculty of International Law (Diplomatic Academy).
On the jury side, there were: Mr. Nguyen Huu Phu - Deputy Director of the Department of Law and International Treaties; Ms. Mai Ngan Ha - expert of the Department of International Organizations, Champion of the National Round on International Humanitarian Law in 2016; Mr. Hoang Ngoc Quan - lawyer of Baker & Mckenzie Law Firm (Vietnam), and former champions of the National Round on International Humanitarian Law.
The 2024 Diplomatic Academy Law Presentation Competition with the theme of International Humanitarian Law is a thematic event on international law, playing an important role in promoting the development of teaching and learning of International Law at the Diplomatic Academy.
The competition aims to select the two best representatives of the Diplomatic Academy to conquer the national round: The 23rd International Humanitarian Law Presentation Competition (Vietnam National Round - The 23rd Red Cross International Humanitarian Law).

After a thorough preparation process, the participating teams demonstrated confidence, courage, and sharp thinking and reasoning skills to resolve the case. The judges, who are prestigious experts with extensive legal experience, worked impartially, gave accurate comments to the teams, and officially selected the two best representatives of the Diplomatic Academy to conquer the national round.
The final results include: Champion: Team 04 - Humanitas, Runner-up: Team 10 - Legally not blonde, Quarter-finalists: Team 08 - Elaradawn & Team 11 - Broccoli; Team with the best defense for the prosecution: Team 04 - Humanitas; Team with the best defense for the defense: Team 04 - Humanitas; Most popular team: Team 11 - Broccoli, Best litigation lawyer: Dinh Van Khiem (Team 04 - Humanitas).
In the future, the Faculty of International Law will strive to promote the achieved values and strengthen the quality of the competition with the desire to bring a positive and vibrant intellectual space where students can experience, learn and develop legal practice skills.
