The Center for Overseas Labor (Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs) and the Osaka Healthcare Association of Japan announce the selection of candidates for the 2024 nursing assistant trainee program in Japan, under a cooperation agreement between the two organizations.
The selection process involves 50 candidates, both male and female, born between 1989 and 2004. Nationwide, eligible candidates are students who have completed a program of one year or more, or who have graduated from a nursing program at vocational schools, colleges, or universities.
Nursing students from universities, colleges, and vocational schools can participate in this program.
Health requirements: Corrected vision of 7/10 or higher, no color blindness, no tattoos, no disabilities affecting mobility, and no hepatitis B or C.
After selection, candidates will receive full financial support from the Osaka Healthcare Association for an 8-11 month Japanese language training course in Vietnam to achieve N4 level proficiency, including health check-up fees at the start of the course and before departure, N4 Japanese language proficiency test fees (one attempt), visa application fees, and airfare upon departure.
Upon arriving in Japan, applicants will receive a training allowance of 60,000 yen per person (approximately 10 million VND) for one month after entry.
Afterward, trainees will work at hospitals that are partners of the Osaka Healthcare Association, receiving a salary in accordance with Japan's Minimum Wage Law and no lower than that of Japanese employees in the same position, starting from 175,000 yen/month (approximately 28 million VND). This is an average calculation for 22 working days/month, not including allowances, overtime pay, etc.
During their time in Japan, candidates receive free Japanese language lessons to ensure they pass the N3 level Japanese language proficiency test after one year, and vocational skills training to move on to the second stage of the skills training program.
Upon completing the 3-year program and returning to their home country on time, trainees will receive support for airfare and a stipend of 200,000 yen per person (approximately 32 million VND).
Applicants can download the application form from the website www.colab.gov.vn in the form download section, complete the form according to the instructions, and submit it directly or by mail to the Center for Overseas Labor (No. 1, Trinh Hoai Duc Street, Cat Linh Ward, Dong Da District, Hanoi) by July 31st.
