On October 4, the Department of Fisheries coordinated with Dong A Joint Stock Company to distribute more than 4 tons of 70% Chlorine chemicals to Ha Hoa, Doan Hung, Phu Ninh, Thanh Thuy districts and Viet Tri city after the impact of storm No. 3. The total support cost was nearly 200 million VND.
Representatives of the Department of Fisheries and Dong A Joint Stock Company presented more than 2 tons of chemicals to disinfect and prevent aquatic diseases to Ha Hoa district.
All chemicals provided free of charge by Dong A Joint Stock Company are used to disinfect and prevent aquatic diseases. Localities are responsible for receiving and distributing them to aquaculture households whose ponds have overflowed and whose cages have been broken, overflowed, or swept away due to the impact of storm No. 3; at the same time, provide technical guidance on the use of chemicals to treat the environment, prevent diseases, and create favorable conditions and ensure safety for releasing new batches of seeds when environmental factors in the ponds are stable.

It is known that due to the impact of storm No. 3, in the province, there are over 1,000 hectares of aquaculture; 456 cages were broken, flooded, overflowed and swept away. Currently, the water has receded, aquaculture households are focusing on renovating and treating the farming environment to restore production, preparing for the new production season.
