Ha Tinh Witnessing captain Nguyen Van Quyet score and assist in the draw with Ha Tinh in V-League 2023 after an eight-match suspension, coach Bozidar Bandovic felt happy.
Van Quyet has not played for Hanoi FC since round 8 of V-League 2023 due to an eight-match suspension after colliding with the referee. Since then, Hanoi has been playing inconsistently: winning three, drawing two, losing two. Yesterday's away match at Ha Tinh Stadium in the second round of the championship group of phase II was the first time the 2022 Vietnam Golden Ball returned to Hanoi's main squad. "Van Quyet is the captain, the leader of the team," said coach Bandovic after the match at Ha Tinh Stadium. "He has been out for three months, so he needs more time to regain his form to contribute more to Hanoi."
In previous rounds, especially when the home team was having difficulties, the Serbian coach shared that he missed Van Quyet.

In this match, Van Quyet contributed to two goals of the defending champion Hanoi. In the 3rd minute, the Hanoi captain kicked a corner kick from the left wing, creating an opportunity for midfielder Marcao Silva to jump high and head the ball to open the score. In the 34th minute, Van Quyet skillfully controlled the ball after a kick by goalkeeper Bui Tan Truong, fooled Ha Tinh's defenders and then shot it against the post and bounced inside, raising the score to 2-1 for the away team.
In the situation of Van Quyet's goal, some of the home team's defenders hesitated, thinking that the ball had touched the Hanoi captain's hand so they did not vigorously tackle it, but referee Tran Ngoc Nho still let the match continue. However, the away team could not protect the result. Ha Tinh then rose up, tying the score to 2-2 in the first half.
"I'm very happy, it was a beautiful goal," said coach Bandovic about Van Quyet's goal. However, coach Sebia was not satisfied with the result of the match, wanting to win because the home team had taken the lead twice. "We conceded two goals that could have been limited. In this match, both sides fought very strongly, the players did not have the patience to play in the right position like in other matches," he added.

Apart from the assist and goal in the first half, Van Quyet and the other players on the visitors' attack line were almost absent in the second half, unable to create any breakthrough situations. In this match, the Hanoi captain also took a number of direct free kicks outside the penalty area, but all were unsuccessful.
Held to a 2-2 draw, Hanoi was forced to extend the gap to two points by the top team CAHN. In the third round of phase II, Hanoi hosted Nam Dinh at Hang Day Stadium.
