On the evening of October 12, the Ho Chi Minh City Hair and Beauty Association held the Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Hair and Beauty Association for the third term (2023-2028). The Congress elected 14 members of the Executive Committee and Ms. Cao Thi Hong Lam was re-elected as President of the Association.
Mr. Nguyen Duy Tan, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Home Affairs, assessed the activities of the Association.
Attending the Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Hair and Beauty Association, term III (2023-2028) were representatives of the leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Home Affairs, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade, the Korean Hair Association, domestic and international hair and beauty businesses and a large number of entrepreneurs/artisans/stylists/makeup artists.

Sharing about the direction and activities, Ms. Cao Thi Hong Lam, the new President of the Association for the third term (2023-2028) emphasized training activities, improving professional and vocational capacity, maintaining and developing events and activities of the Association.
Including coordinating the organization of direct and online specialized seminars and workshops for members. Vocational training, management, service, vocational training, specialized English. Exchange to improve professional skills through overseas training. Nominate members to attend domestic and international seminars.
At the same time, the Association continues traditional activities such as ancestor worship ceremonies, gratitude to teachers, charity activities such as building charity homes, organizing weddings for the disabled, haircuts, free vocational training, disaster relief, epidemics, and helping people in difficult circumstances.
At the program, the Association launched a charity fundraiser to build houses for the poor.

The Ho Chi Minh City Hair & Beauty Association is a voluntary social-professional organization established by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, aiming to gather, connect and support individuals, organizations and businesses operating in the hair & beauty industry in Vietnam, and at the same time act as a bridge to transmit and respond to information between state management agencies and individuals, organizations and businesses operating in this field to create understanding and consensus towards a common goal. Having gone through many stages of development, the Association currently has about 1,300 members nationwide.
