People's Artist Thai Bao: "Walk slowly and hold hands tightly to the end of the road"
Recently, People's Artist Thai Bao posted an article on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of her and Meritorious Artist Anh Tuan's wedding. Along with the pictures of the couple throughout the long journey, she said: "So 35 years together, sharing joys and sorrows on a difficult and arduous journey. The gains and losses are not calculated, even in stormy days, we try to overcome them. That is respect, trust and infinite gratitude.
Although we don't say many beautiful words to each other, we still bring each other a positive spirit, a strong support, a peaceful life and a warm family. No one can predict anything and there is not much time left. Let's walk slowly and hold hands tightly to go all the way to the end of the road."

People's Artist Thai Bao and Meritorious Artist Anh Tuan got married in 1989. They met and fell in love during the subsidy period, when life was still full of hardship and deprivation. The singer of "Tron Footprints on the Sand" once recounted: After the wedding, the couple's only assets were a bed and a wardrobe given by musician Quang Vinh (later the Director of the Vietnam Music and Dance Theater), but the wardrobe door was broken, so every time they put away or took out clothes, the couple struggled.
Despite the hardships, their lives have never lacked happiness. In a rare occasion talking about her husband on VTV's Late Night Story program, People's Artist Thai Bao confided: "I always feel lucky because my husband and son understand me very well. Many people keep asking, "Why did I have so few children, only one?" It's because I'm so passionate about art that I forget about my personal life. Everything has its price."
According to artist Thai Bao, thanks to her husband's sympathy and understanding, she was able to overcome many things and pursue her passion. "There were late nights when audiences called to ask to hear Thai Bao sing. Many times when I was out on the street, I had to stop to talk to the audience. Every time like that, my husband couldn't sleep but still lay still so I could interact with the audience. Because he knew that was his wife's joy and happiness. Thanks to him "laying out the carpet" I was able to go far with my passion," Thai Bao shared.
Meanwhile, talking about his wife, Meritorious Artist Anh Tuan also had words of respect. He said: "Thai Bao is a woman who can be said to be complete. For me, she is not only a wife who takes care of me in family life but also helps me a lot in my career, always gentle and very affectionate. We have a common hobby of raising a litter of puppies and cats. After stressful working hours, we return to our home and play with them."
