Journey 'One bag of medicine - one heart' gives 10,000 bags of medicine after storm and flood

DHG Pharma employees join hands to donate to support people in flood-hit areas in the North.

The program "One bag of medicine - One heart" will launch at the end of September 2024, bringing the message of sharing and love to people in difficult circumstances.

The heart of the home front sends all love to the people in the flood area

Faced with the losses of people in flood-affected areas, DHG Pharma quickly deployed timely support activities, with the desire to contribute to helping people quickly rebuild their lives.

Accordingly, the company joined hands to support people in the flood-hit areas of the North with a total budget of over 2,511,888,000 VND.

Of which, the company's employees donated 361,888,000 VND. DHG Pharma donated 50,000,000 VND in response to the call of the Can Tho City Department of Health ; 249,510,400 VND to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City; 62,377,600 VND to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

In parallel, the company also supported a medicine base worth 100 million VND in the journey of medical examination and medicine distribution in Lao Cai province of Can Tho City Department of Health. To support DHG Pharma employees in the flood-hit areas, the company's Executive Board also allocated 350 million VND from the Board of Directors' operating fund to send to units in Hanoi , Thai Nguyen, Vinh Phuc, Bac Ninh, Hai Phong, Hai Duong, Thai Binh, Ninh Binh to encourage the spirit to help employees overcome difficulties and feel secure at work.

Above all, realizing that after a period of fighting against storms and floods, in conditions of food shortage and unsanitary conditions, people face many health risks, the company continues to coordinate with AloBacsi and Daisy Media to carry out the program "One bag of medicine - One heart", sending 10,000 boxes of family medicine, worth 1.7 billion VND to people in storm and flood areas.

The representative of Vietnam's leading pharmaceutical company said that 10,000 medicine bags are not simply a wish to send quality products to people to take care of their family's health, but also the heart of Vietnamese people for their fellow countrymen in difficulty. To have neat medicine bags, the company's employees volunteered after work to pack medicine with all their love to send to the people of the North.

Journey of sowing seeds of health, fulfilling the duty of compatriots

After the launching ceremony on the morning of September 19, 2024, trucks full of medicine followed each other to the North. According to the plan, the journey to give away “A bag of medicine – A heart” took place over 4 days, starting from Thai Nguyen (September 27), to Cao Bang (September 28), Lao Cai (September 29) and ending in Yen Bai (September 30).

The list of medicines in this practical gift is based on the experience of community health care, many years of implementing medical examination and medicine distribution activities as well as flood relief work of DHG Pharma and AloBacsi.

After work, DHG Pharma employees volunteer to pack medicine with all their love to send to the people of the North.

Accordingly, each medicine bag will include essential products (not in the group requiring prescription according to regulations), with strategic, quality products from the company such as: Hapacol pain reliever and fever reducer; Hamett diarrhea treatment drug; Telfor allergy rhinitis and urticaria treatment drug; Bocalex resistance supplement effervescent tablets to help strengthen a healthy immune system. The medicine box will be accompanied by specific instructions for use for each type of medicine for people to use conveniently, avoiding confusion.

The two units, beating together in the same heart towards the flood area, both hope that with this small gift, she will be strengthened and have the health to overcome difficulties together and soon stabilize her life. After this journey, the solidarity of DHG Pharma, AloBacsi and Daisy Media will be even stronger and plan to continue implementing community health care activities, spreading love to many localities across the country.
