(Dan Tri) - The tornado damaged 64 houses in Soc Trang. Authorities have mobilized hundreds of officials to help people overcome the consequences.
On December 13-14, dozens of officers and soldiers were mobilized to support people in Nga Nam town (Soc Trang province) to repair houses damaged by tornadoes.

Earlier on the morning of December 13, heavy rain and thunderstorms caused 64 houses in My Quoi and My Binh communes to collapse and have their roofs blown off.
The tornado also injured one person; many trees and electric poles were broken, affecting local traffic.

Immediately after the tornado occurred, the Command Committee for Civil Defense, Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue of Nga Nam town mobilized nearly 300 people including police and militia to overcome the consequences.
Local police forces urgently transported people's belongings to safe locations, cleaned up the environment, cleared fallen trees, and encouraged people to overcome difficulties.
Up to this point, the scene has been temporarily repaired by local authorities to help people stabilize their lives.
