NGHE AN - Sen Village, Kim Lien Relic Complex, Dai Tue Pagoda in Nam Dan District welcomed a large number of visitors and sightseers in the first days of the new year.

Nam Dan district is located 15 km from Vinh city, is home to many historical and cultural relics and famous scenic spots of Nghe An province.
Here is the Kim Lien Special National Relic Site, located in Kim Lien and Nam Giang communes - a complex of relics associated with President Ho Chi Minh's childhood, attracting more than 2 million visitors each year.
When coming to Nam Dan, tourists can visit the relic cluster of Lang Sen, Chung Son temple, and the tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan - mother of President Ho Chi Minh.


Sen Village has a thatched house of the family of Mr. Pho Bang Nguyen Sinh Sac, preserving souvenirs of President Ho Chi Minh's childhood from 1901 to 1906 and his two visits to his hometown in 1957 and 1961.

Inside the campus, there are many resting spots and miniature landscapes. In addition to sightseeing, visitors can also experience betel chewing at a small hut.
On February 15, local authorities held a ceremony to offer banh chung at the tomb and organized a ceremony to give alms at the relic site for locals and visitors.

Chung Son Temple in Kim Lien Commune, part of the Kim Lien Relic Site. This is the place to worship President Ho Chi Minh's ancestors, located halfway up Chung Mountain, and was ranked as a National Historical Relic in 1991.

The temple has many trees and a small waterfall, creating a cool green space. To enter the shrines, people have to walk through stone steps.
According to statistics, from February 10 to now, Kim Lien Relic Site has welcomed more than 4,000 groups with nearly 40,000 visitors, including 15 foreign groups.

About 17 km from Kim Lien relic site, Dai Tue pagoda, 6,000 m2 wide, located on the top of Thang Thien cave, in Dai Hue mountain range, Nam Anh commune, is also a favorite destination for tourists during the New Year when combined with visiting Uncle Ho's hometown.
In 2016, Dai Tue was recognized by the Record Association with 4 records, including: the pagoda with the most ruby statues, the most solid mulberry wood statues, the most Vietnamese calligraphy parallel sentences, and the pagoda on the mountain with the largest artificial lake.



Coming to the relics in Nam Dan on this occasion, people often ask for calligraphy, or buy souvenirs and ask the calligrapher to write their name in calligraphy on them.
Nghe An Department of Tourism said that during the Tet holiday, the whole province welcomed more than 315,000 visitors, with total revenue reaching about 400 billion VND.
Nam Dan district welcomes the most visitors, tens of thousands of visitors per day, followed by Dien Chau, Hung Nguyen, Do Luong districts, and Vinh city.
