According to information from the Australian state of New South Wales (NSW) police, two light aircraft collided in the air and crashed in the southwestern area of Sydney at noon on October 26.

The horrific crash occurred near Belimbla Park, near Oakdale, at around 11:50am on Saturday, October 26 (local time). NSW Police have confirmed there have been casualties, but have not released a number.
Emergency services were quickly on the scene. Several rescue teams were also on the scene.
A crime scene has been established in the Macarthur region of New South Wales.
Aerial footage from 7NEWS shows smoke billowing from the densely forested terrain in the Belimbla Park area. Multiple emergency crews, including police, ambulances and firefighters, can be seen at the scene.
NSW Police urged people to avoid the area and said they could not provide any further information about the incident at this time.
NSW Police and the Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) will investigate the cause of the incident.
