The envelopes of the head teacher
According to regulations, each school year, parents will attend meetings about 3 times with homeroom teachers to exchange information between the school and the family as well as their children's learning and training.
Many teachers send out invitations to parent-teacher conferences with envelopes with the parents’ names written on the outside of the invitations to show their appreciation for the parents. A homeroom teacher of a class demonstrates thrift and spreads this spirit to parents before starting the meeting content with the request: "Please allow parents to keep these envelopes to send invitations for the next time to avoid waste."
A parent in the class compared this action of the teacher: "She is implementing an R - Reuse in the 3R principle - Reduce, Reuse, Recycle (Reduce, reuse, recycle) in demonstrating a green lifestyle because it provides the full value and meaning of the product until it can no longer be used."
The envelopes were reused by the homeroom teacher.
From an educational perspective, through her work, the teacher sent parents a useful message in teaching their children: They should preserve and make use of school and living supplies to save parents' money.
Reusable envelopes bring a profound meaning to spread good habits, science and reasonable spending to avoid waste - A meaningful message in the first parent meeting of the year.
"I can handle it, sir!"
"I can handle it, teacher!", the simple, sincere words with the optimistic smile of the parent warmed the homeroom teacher's heart after the parent meeting, even though he knew that behind those words were the struggling days of the parent amidst the hustle and bustle of life.
They have 3 children and all go to school like other children of the same age. Both husband and wife do not have stable jobs and have to work for hire to make ends meet. What is precious to them is that they do not rely on the community's help but rise up in life with their own honest labor. Their happiness is the academic results of their children. Their eldest child is about to graduate from university, the second is in his third year of university and the remaining child is in high school.
Looking at his worn-out shirt and rickety bicycle before we parted, I appreciated even more his character of overcoming difficulties. He did not complain about the changes, but instead, this parent was always calm to find the best solution. Many times I heard complaints from people who, with the labor of their family members, could have received a reasonable income to have a stable life without having to rely on the help of society.
The noble humanitarian meaning of social security policies will spread more widely to people like this parent, who are conscious of improving their lives, not from negative thoughts and actions to benefit themselves.
