Ha Tinh allocates nearly 27.5 billion VND to invest in 4 rural clean water projects

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province assigned the investor to urgently implement the prescribed steps to start construction; regularly direct, supervise, and ensure the projects are completed and disbursed on time.

Chairman of Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai has just signed and issued Decision No. 2018/QD-UBND dated August 28, 2023 on the allocation of central budget development investment capital to implement the National Target Program on New Rural Construction in 2022 and 2023 to invest in centralized rural clean water supply works (phase 1).

The domestic water supply system of Thach Son commune was invested with 8,202 billion VND to replace the water supply source.

Accordingly, 27,421 billion VND of central budget development investment capital is allocated to implement the National Target Program on New Rural Construction in 2022 and 2023 for the Center for Clean Water and Rural Environmental Sanitation (investor) to invest in centralized rural clean water supply works.

The concentrated rural clean water projects invested in this phase include: Investment project to expand the Thien Loc domestic water supply system for Vuong Loc commune, Can Loc district (7.078 billion VND); Investment project to expand the Bac Cam Xuyen domestic water supply system for Cam Quang commune (6.840 billion VND); Investment project to expand the Bac Cam Xuyen domestic water supply system for Cam My commune, Cam Xuyen district (5.301 billion VND); replacement of water supply source for the domestic water supply system for Thach Son commune, Thach Ha district (8.202 billion VND).

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Center for Clean Water and Rural Environmental Sanitation to promptly implement steps in accordance with regulations to start construction of the project; regularly direct, supervise, ensure the project is completed on schedule and disburse capital on time. Be responsible to the Provincial People's Committee and inspection, examination, auditing agencies and relevant agencies in managing and implementing the allocated capital; implement the periodic reporting regime in accordance with current regulations.

The People's Committees of Can Loc, Cam Xuyen and Thach Ha districts coordinate well with the investor during the project implementation process; direct the People's Committees of related communes to propagate and mobilize beneficiaries to take responsibility for handing over the site to implement the project on schedule; promptly grasp difficulties and problems (if any) to advise on appropriate solutions, ensuring the project is completed and capital is disbursed on schedule.

The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Provincial New Rural Development Coordination Office regularly inspect and urge investors during the implementation process to ensure the project is completed on schedule, put into operation soon, contributing to meeting the clean water needs of the people.

The Department of Planning & Investment, the Department of Finance, the Provincial State Treasury and relevant units, according to their functions and tasks, shall guide and urge the Investor to implement the project on schedule; disburse and pay capital within the assigned time limit.
