Ha Tinh has 1 individual honored as "Prestigious person among ethnic minorities nationwide"

Mr. Ho Son (born in 1957) - Head of Giang 2 village, Huong Vinh commune (Huong Khe) is the only individual in Ha Tinh province to be honored as a typical "Prestigious person among ethnic minorities nationwide" in 2023.

In Hanoi, the Ethnic Committee in coordination with the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front recently held a conference to commend and honor advanced models as "Prestigious people among ethnic minorities nationwide" in 2023.

The conference commended and honored 497 delegates who are prestigious and typical ethnic minorities in the country. These are people with many achievements in the fields of socio-economic development, national security protection, new rural construction associated with sustainable poverty reduction, building cultural life in residential areas, preserving and promoting fine cultural traditions among ethnic minorities.

Ha Tinh had only one individual honored at the conference, Mr. Ho Son - Head of Giang 2 village, Huong Vinh commune (Huong Khe).

Mr. Ho Son was elected to hold the position of village chief from 2017 to present and was voted by the villagers as a prestigious person in the community.

He himself always had a harmonious and simple lifestyle, was exemplary in implementing the policies of the Party and the State; practiced a cultural family lifestyle, and was trusted and loved by everyone.

As the village chief, he has promoted and mobilized villagers to gradually form a settled lifestyle and production; preserve and promote good traditional values; eliminate backward customs, abandon the nomadic lifestyle of hunting and gathering; and promote and mobilize villagers to actively work in production and increase income...

With many contributions to the ethnic community, Mr. Ho Son was awarded a certificate of merit by the Minister and Chairman of the Ethnic Committee Hau A Lenh as an outstanding national prestige person in 2023, achieving outstanding achievements in ethnic work and ethnic policies of the Party and State.
